Our New Sermon Series | Matthew Volume 5: Affection

By August 5, 2013Archive

Matthew is back. Join us this Sunday, August 11th,  as we step into Matthew Volume 5: Affection. Jesus, God’s affection on display in the flesh, continually aims his truth at our affections in order that our hearts might be reoriented and our actions come into alignment with His holiness.  In this section of Matthew (chapters 18 – 20) we see Jesus do heart surgery on his disciples as well as on his enemies who seek to find fault in him.  His parabolic scalpel is perfect, pressed upon our hearts with love and precision.

As you may have noticed, we are currently experiencing unprecedented growth. It is fantastic…but it calls for some flexibility on everyone’s part. Remember to come 10 minutes early to grab a seat up front and fill into our ever-shrinking room as efficiently as possible. We need to make room for all our friends and families. Also, we encourage all the community of iNVERSION to come 10 minutes early to participate in the “Intentional 10”. These 10 minutes are vital to connecting with and help guests get acquainted with our church community.

See you this Sunday!
