DON’T BRING FOOD: Why There Is No Potluck This Second Sunday At iN

No Potluck

We love Second Sunday’s. They’re the best.

For the last few years, every Second Sunday at iN has held a massive, gourmet potluck meal to start the night and a Q&A session with Heath, Dane and Jake after the service. Second Sundays have deepened this amazing network of relationships we call iNVERSION. They are also the ideal night to bring a friend because they can experience the warm hospitality of our growing community and ask their toughest questions after the service. Obviously, we greatly value Second Sundays.

Great ministry opportunities need to be stewarded well. With a new community size, a new service and a new facility, the leadership team at iN needs some time to rethink how we do both potlucks and community Q&A. Instead of forcing something haphazard this week, we want to re-launch Second Sunday’s with the enthusiasm of a good conscience in March. We will certainly miss your delicious contributions this week!

We still have many new people coming to iNVERSION on Sunday evenings. In lieu of the potluck, we encourage you to invite someone out to dinner after the service! Let’s continue to extend the hospitality and vulnerability that Second Sundays have come to be known for.
